The Social Maverick

Hi, I’m Rachel — the face behind The Social Maverick. I’m a wife, a mom to three girls, and someone who has built a life around family, creativity, and connection. My girls are Kalleigh Mae (whose first name nobody says right) is my kiddo that make school look easy with 100s in AP classes , Hadleigh Jo is the one who can turn literally anything into fun, and Presleigh Taylor is the smartest little toddler I know. I always joke that I’m three moms at once: a teen mom, a kiddo mom, and a baby mom, all needing completely different versions of me at the exact same time.

My husband and I are best friends but also we are big car people. My hubby with his supped up Audi RS5 and if you ask anyone close to me they’ll probably tell you I get the “two-year itch” when it comes to SUVs because somehow they just keep making cooler ones. We also live less than 200 yards from my in-laws, which sounds crazy to some people, but it’s one of my favorite parts of our life.

Over the years, I’ve built and created multiple businesses of my own too I guess you could say I’m a serial entrepreneur at heart. I’ve spent over 13 years in photography and content creation, also served as the COO of a social media agency focused exclusively on real estate marketing. I know my way with lead strategy, branding, client growth, and day-to-day operations. I genuinely love the process of building something from the ground up: creating the vision, the branding, the connection, and the strategy. Between real-life experience, leadership roles, entrepreneurship, and education, I’ve learned that strong branding goes far beyond aesthetics it’s about creating trust, building relationships, and giving people a reason to genuinely connect with your business.
